  Just had my best Vietnamese meal ever at GiaGia's. My wife and I discovered this place during our Airbnb stay when we moved to the Oklahoma City area.
  
  Updated: We've come back time and time again and have never been disappointed.
  
  Now we live in Tulsa but try to make it to Gia Gia's whenever visiting the OKC area.

  The owner was a great person and she gave me a free of egg rolls with water drink. I told her I hadn't eat anything all day when I was in busy with my errands. I ordered Pho with 34 numbers I ordered, four spring rolls with that something I teased weird... (ok-ok I didn't like it.), and fresh cobnuts in cold drink. They were very delicious and drink a lot water. Also she let me stay here a bit until an hour and half then I left to my home in Tulsa.
  
  Actually I was completely lost in this Asian district, meanwhile I supposed to see my counselor today.

  After many good experiences here over the years, I'm officially DONE with GiaGia.
  
  The sullen young people who work there when the owner's not in are, as  a rule, singularly worthless.
  
  They'd rather stand and talk to each other (else on their damn phones) than wait on customers.
  
  Furthermore, the last two times I've been in have been singularly miserable dining experiences.
  
  The first of the last two times we (a four-top) were utterly ignored in favor of a large 30-top -- even though we were seated first. INFURIATING.
  
  We ordered on that trip only to learn that the two dishes I wanted my guests to try couldn't be made because "we're out of that."
  
  I was just slightly annoyed at first, but my displeasure was growing even then.
  
  Last trip (the trip just this past week), I tried to order FOUR different dishes only to be told, "Oh, no -- we're out of THAT."
  
  Fortunately for GiaGia, the owner herself came over to our table and smoothed things out THAT time.
  
  I get shortages. I do.
  Shit happens.
  
  Shortages are understandable, but should be rare. (This place is within walking distance of two major Asian grocery stores, for Pete's sake!)
  
  When you're running a restaurant, damn it, you have to stay stocked in basic ingredients. PERIOD.
  
  If you can't, then you might as well just shut your doors.
  
  Unless I hear a really contrite, personal apology directly from the owner herself, I will just refuse to go back to GiaGia. I want a promise that this crap will not happen again.
  
  It's gotten ridiculously out of hand over there, and I'm feeling more than a little foolish for having sung Gia Gia's praises over the past few years.

  Gia Gia - a Vietnamese restaurant with an Italian name and menu cover picture resembling an Italian chef, I love it! Shout out to Yelp bud Michellle R. who wrote a nice review about this place, I'm sold.
  
  This is my 1st time here and I noticed right off the bat they're a little pricier compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. There is plenty of room here and the menu is pretty extensive offering many dishes.  
  
  We went with the standard beef pho, spring rolls and chicken skewers. The pho only came in one size and portion sizes smaller than other places. The pho broth was a tad sweeter too but overall the broth was very good as were the cuts of beef and noodles. We were surprised the spring rolls did not come with romaine lettuce wraps as I'm usually accustomed to seeing. The spring rolls skin were light and crispy and the pork filling flavorful. The owner gave us an extra order of the spring rolls on the house, Thank you! :) The chicken skewers were made out of dark meat and drizzled with a sweet soy sauce and topped with crush peanuts, scallions and fried garlic, we really enjoyed these skewers.
  
  A great restaurant with a cutesy name, but aside from that you get a tasty meal and service with a smile.

  We went around 7:45 on a Monday night. We ordered 3 items. One we were told could not be modified. Okay. Then the next thing I ordered, I was told they were out for the day so that was not available either. Which was a Sandwich, then I went to order some Pho and was also told they were out of brisket and the pho set up. I was just hungry and wanted to eat.
  Went to pay the ticket, not only did we not receive any compensation for them being out of everything I ordered, but asked us to provide him the change of 3 cents because he didn't have change. What if I didn't have the 3 pennies? Then what? I will tell you I won't ever go back to eat here again. Not only was it the weirdest service ever. I have had better pho around town this "late" at night.
